since I cant change the size on my end how does the sender reduce the size before sending?
When I receive an email with a photo attached the picture is huge?
The sender can use a web-based tool like Fluxify to automatically resize the photos before emailing them:

Reply:if the photo is .JPG or BMP. u can edit it and make it smaller. you open it up and click on the second last button. then u use the select tool and select the image and then u go to the corner of the selected image and drag it so it turns smaller. or you can use photoshop so it doesn't look distorted
