If someone sends you a picture to your email, does it get stored in your computer if you click open?

Someone "email buddy" sent me a picture. I can't say of what but it's nice* anyway I opened it to view it but I didn't hit the save I hit the open. Did it get saved in my computer? Thanks

Yes it does get saved in your temperory Files and Recent Viewed files so you have to delete your cashe and recent viewed items.
Reply:It might get saved in the Internet Temporary Files. Use CCleaner to guaranty its removal.

Reply:yes it does...internet temp files folder...also in recently veiwed items.
Reply:Nope, it only gets stored in memory and then deletes when you close it.
