Your scanner should have come with software that will allow you to manipulate your pics. Sometimes you can email directly from your software.
If not, using whatever software you have, scan the pic, save it (be sure to remember what you named it and WHERE the pic is saved). Then you open an email - find the attachment section of your email - browse your pc and go to the location where you saved the pic...then either attach or upload (depending on your email) - and send the email.

what you could do is scan pix to program from there send or drag to doc's folder .... my pictures... from there add as an attachment to your e-mail. If there is a better way i haven't found it yet, but this is what I do
