How do you make a picture as a attachment be smaller so that it can fit better in your email?Any suggestions?
Most photo editors like Windows Photo Editor have a function to resize the photo. With yahoo, a file that is about 100kb or less shows at the bottom of the email as a small thumbnail sketch.
Reply:Download and install the freeware IrfanView, it has many useful features, yet is extremely easy to handle. Once it is installed, open your pic with it, go to "image" in the top bar, click "change size", enter the desired size, also change the DPI (dots per inch) settings to 72, then save your pic as .jpg or .gif.
