How do I add a picture onto an email?

i tried dragging it, but it won't work. all it does is go to the page on the internet where it is.
How do I add a picture onto an email?
The picture you want to send has to be saved to " my pictures". Then you bring up your E-mail account, put the e-mail address in ,the subject, then any message you want, then click on " add attachments", click on " browse" to find the picture. Get "my pictures" in the top slot, and scroll through until you find it. Highlight it,click on" open" It should then be attached. You will see a paper clip under your message with a file number beside it if the picture attached itself properly. If I can do it, anyone can, so go for it.
