Is there a website you can email a picture of an item to and have it identified?

hmm that would be nice...I haven't heard of anything like that though. You can try posting it on big websites though maybe someone will have some expertise on it.

if it's antique you can go to some websites and send them a picture. they'll tell you what it is. Or just try taking it to Lowe's or Home depot. they have plenty of yahoo's that can tell you something.
Reply:check with the local police dept. site and see what they have first as they will have the registry of all the legitimate sites

I have a picture and want to email it to a friend. I want to put a couple notes on the picture?

I have a picture I want to email a friend. I want to make some notes on the picture so he can see what I am talking about. I would like to make a box around some items with a number, so I can reference the items in the email. I own photoshop 7, cs, dreamweaver and the other programs that come on windows. What program can I use to make a simple box with a number. Everytime I use photoshop it makes the box cover everything up.

Thanks

Download a trial version of Snagit.

After you download it, install the program, then run it after installation.

Then go to the SnagIt Studio or SnagIt Editor (can't remember, but it's one of the two), and open the picture you're trying to edit . It should have tools there that will allow you to perform what you're trying to accomplish.

Good luck!
Reply:you can use Paint program in all windows versions to edit a photo. just click on "A" on the left side.

Reply:use microsoft word. insert a text box with background and/ or border set to transparent and send the text box to front. it works.

Is the picture quality on a 25" CRT TV using a svideo cable usable for IM, Email, Web?

i dont need it to be HD quality but is it able to be done and look decent enough to do C++, IM, browse the web? also is there a way to simulate the pixilation that it would have on a 17" CRT monitor?

the monitor is fine, just not the s video interface
Reply:No, it's far too lousy. S-video is analog, so it limits you to a laughable 720x480. That's fine for gaming and video, but not for actual productivity work or a Browser window. You actually DO need HDTV resolutions for what you want, I'm afraid. As for the pixelation, I'm not sure what you mean, because a 17" CRT shouldn't have any at a normal mode. As to your question, your 25" TV would blur into nothing any pixelation, anyway, even on 1980's DOS games. It's just a SD set, and probably made either in Korea, Malaysia, or Hong Kong even if it sports a Japanese or American brand name.

How would I go about putting a jpeg image from my picture file directly onto my email page?

With yahoo mail it is not possible only options are attachments and links

Why aren't pictures, videos or any kind of attachments from my friends getting through to my email?

Whenever i open some sort of email that has an attachment, i'll click on it and it wont open!

If it is a picture, a little red X in a white box will come up, instead of the picture.

And if it's a video, my media player will pop up with some error message that wont let my play the video!! If anyone can PLEASE PLEASE help me i'd really appreciate it!!

And i'm more concerend about seeing the pictures than the videos so if someone could at least help me on that i'd love it!

THANXX!!

How can i get my env to send a picture to my email?
You first have to send them to your Verizon picture album online and then once they are in your pic album on your online account you can send them to your e mail from there. To get them to your album on your Verion on line account e mail me and I will walk you through it step by step. First you need to make sure that you have registered for your online Verizon acct. and make sure that your album is empty or has enough space for your pics.

How do i email a picture?

i am trying to email pictures to a freind of mine, but, her mac will not open an attachment. how do i paste a picture in my yahoo email to send?
How do i email a picture?
In order to embed a picture in the body of a yahoo email your photos needs to be web based on a site like:-

http://www.flickr.com/

http://photobucket.com/

http://fotopic.net/

http://www.snapfish.com/info17

Then you can right click and copy the picture from the web site and paste onto the body of your email or your signature. This method will not work using the Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browsers.

Photos that are based on your computer will not copy and paste in most email providers mail.
